Well the detecting day dawned at 08.30 which saw Tafflaff, Roman Ray and Pipster making the trip once again from Gods country, across the Severn bridge and into the land of the West Saxons.
The weather although dry failed to give the warming sun of the last outing, which made it feel a bit to chilly for comfort. But unperturbed we grabbed our weapons and were away once more on to the stubble.
Within 10 minutes of starting and with my second diggable signal, the reason for the signal was to prove annoying to the others and according to them, cast serious doubt on the legitimacy  on my parents marriage Smiley
And this was the reason......

Well I was hoping for a Hammered but beggars can't be choosers Grin

Within the hour Ray himslf was adding some silverware to the finds table with a hammered something, unfortunately a bit to worn for any id, but they all count.
Finds overall were down on past visits but the site lived up to it's name, which kept Pipster happy as he loves buttons (must be a childhood thing lol)
I will let the others add their own picks of the various bits and bobs.
