Welcome to the fourth official DetectingWales.com competition![/color]

Its our second annual Christmas Competition folks and we have a cracking prize kindly donated by Gazza (nice one mate Wink) in the form of a Romano Spanish oil lamp - I would guess at circa 2nd Century! Outstanding condition and bears a bulls head and horns in the centre.

The rules are really simple. To enter all you have to do is either have made over 5 posts since DetectingWales.com was formed OR to have made 5 (sensible please) posts before midnight on Thursday 24th December 2009.

To enter, simply estimate how many lead musket balls and bullets are in the photo - all of which were found in South Wales. Theres a photo below of them to help you out. Clue - theres more than you may initially think!

The winner is the closest person to the correct answer - only one guess per person! Judges decision is final! Grin

The closing date for entries is midnight on Christmas Eve. The winner will be announced at midday on Christmas Day.

Good Luck, Happy Christmas and may you have another treasure filled New Year!

Neil & The Detectingwales Team.
