Hi all,

In south wales somewhere there is, or was, a least one wall standing of a building that was once called Aubrey manor. I know so because there is a photo of my grandmother there in the ruins as a child. For some reason i remember it clearly and there is basically one corner and a wall  surrounded by trees on a slope.(not much to go on i know) unfortunatley every one who knew its location has passed on. My interest in this is because my mums maiden name was aubrey. And it was at some time in history the family estate. no-one know what happened to it. I have found the Aubrey arms pub and found a very old map(theres half a copy on the pub wall) of the area that shows the pub, a mill and aubrey cottages. Logic tells me it must be there somewhere but its not on the map and no one i spoke to there has ever heard of it. Has anyone ever come across it? do you know where it is or indeed anything about it. any help on this would be greatly appricated as its currently a family mystery.

thanks for reading
Kai

not to my knowledge, from waht we can tell most of my family ancestors went to america over 200 years ago. hence the gap in knowledge. why do you ask?
