i saw an episode this afternoon i'd not seen before called "serenade for tight jeans and a metal detector"...hilarious !!..i wont go into the jeans aspect but, the story was about an old military detector one of them had bought...it had like a metal ammo box with the battery/controls in,straight shaft and headphones....the coil was square and mounted on wood.....even my wife was laughing at it so it must have been funny !...byron

Yeh Phil, I have seen that a long time ago, there are a lot of repeats these days but the early ones were funny as you say.

Yes Charles the ealier ones were the best,was not the same after Compo died.
