Found this a couple of weeks ago. Bent and brittle as anything. Bits falling off.
Jason, fair dos, said its a "Mary" and as it was a mess anyway, I decided to try and anneal and straighten it by following the recent article.

This is the result. A nice coin. Size of a groat, but is it a groat, half groat or penny? can Doc help with mint etc. Please all feel free

Join the clan, I know the feeling well. Age, and a life of debauchery, rape and pillaging seem to leave their mark. At least that's what I am told Wink

Well, it's a Mary (by herself I think) - and if it's a groat size then it's probably a groat Cheesy

London mint.

Don't think it's a half groat, looks more like 3/4  Grin.  Nice find and good job
