Hi all Grin
Hooray, I have some time to myself on thursday, and as I have no land to get about on I am thinking of driving down to Barry Island for some beach detecting if I am wright the tide I believe is out around 2.45pm would it be best to get there around 10 11 ish and follow the tide out and work the wet sand any suggestions from those who beach detect will be most helpful.

Hi there under normal circumstances i would say you have it sussed
but given recent hot weather then the dry sand and just below may hold
the best of the goodies...i wish you good hunting.....PaulB. Cool

Dave I went there a few weeks ago and on low tide ther very little sand left there , so you may find some older stuff , apart from that in front of number 11? i think its number 11 balstrade is apparently the best (its about half way across the beach its got a ramp and gardens by it anyway)  hope this helps and good luck . Let us see all the goodies though  Grin
