 total waste of time, got a lizzy 2nd six pence, a button and about 100 shotty caps and 303's

he said theyve only been there once before  Roll Eyes yeah right, spoke to a few peps and one said hed had a gold stater off there on a sunday dig about 7 years ago!!

how did you guys get on from R.A.R.E, spoke to a couple of you

well they may have had only one ralley on it before, but whos to say it hasn't been well done by others and a club since,  it has been known in the past.

If its any consolation , I was out in the rain up here in north wales , Managed to find 10 coins all pennies and halfpennies , and a couple of horse buckles .The rain was that heavy I had to empty my wellies out before I got in the motor to come home .

I didnt see you there ,maybe you was hidden behind the sheets of rain we had yesterday lol

It wasnt a waist of time for me its taught me a big lesson never go Detecting 6 hours in a rain storm  Embarrassed
 
A few Rare member came away with a few nice bits,
 to name but a few a French Jetton,A Bedfordshire reg Cap badge, Sterling silver U.S. Pararchutists wings,and a american trade token  not a very memorable day all told.

I came away with a few nice bits and bobs but nothing exeptional

Interesting Place tho ,there was a few pics flying about of a sherman Tank Found Buired in the forrest.
I would have loved to have found something American but it wasnt too be ;0(
