Wow WoW. Thankyou Val, just looked at a thread you had discussed about these on this forum... And then I run to my tin of rubbish finds to find I had another I thought was a drawer pull handle!
Thanks again, (I wondered why the thread inside was tapered)!  Grin Grin Grin Kiss
Now I have two!!  Shocked

I would say well done Da Monkey but of course I wouldn't mean it so I won't bother lol

There called "jaws harps" larger version of "jews harp". Cant believe someone found that either!!!  Cry Cheesy
We all know what they are called, it's just an inside joke towards geoff as he can't seem to find any, i've found about 6 of them. Large and small  Grin Grin Grin

Joke? joke? not for some, it's war I tell you and you know what you can do with your 6 Grin

MuckyLuck, there is no difference in them, Jaws harp is just the modern politically correct name.

I thought they were called JAWS because you place it in the mouth then pluck the flexible reed attached. I remember having one as a young lad in the 1940s

Enjoyed that vid. Its quite a versatile instrument really. A few people using these the same time
would have been great fun in their day.
