This is exactly the same type of artefact I posted not that long ago. Only difference was my example had the letter  " T "  inside the heart shape. I also thought mines was a love token.Do the two square shapes have letters in them--I think I spotted the letter  "M"  in one of the squares on your example. Wink Grin

no its not an M its just lines running vertical in the little square at the bottom, ive given it a bit of a better clean with my fibre glass pen but there doesnt seem to be any scribing either so who knows!! Huh

love token it may be/or not,,i have found several examples of silver ones but only 1 bronnze type and i thought {must have been a tight b%%$£"!d Grin

This is copper alloy, after giving it a clean dont think there is much if any bronze in it lmao like you said The tight Git
