Thanks to all that were willing to give it a try.
You are right Geoff, accuracy could very well depend on which device a user has. All I really know 100% for sure is that it's very good on my S2!
Well today was my big day . My first day back detecting in the new season. However, sadly it wasn't to be
I already knew I was going to be facing rapeseed stubble, but I wasn't reckoning on how just how thick the stalks are this year! Normally I always start the season detecting the areas where the stalks are thin and weedy due to to growing conditions. but there wasn't any! It's been a good season for rapeseed. The farmer told me he is 2 weeks ahead with the harvest. He's as pleased as Punch! I'm not. Hate the stuff
I think the answer to rapeseed stubble, is a small coil. Maybe next year.. I think I'll just wait a few more weeks until he's scratched it all up.
Anyway,, I wasn't going to waste a beautiful afternoon in the countryside. so I thought I'd do a 'Resumed search accuracy test. In the image, each colour is a stop-exit and resumed track. The stars are simulated findspots. There's also an image of the generated finds list.
Horrible stuff!
