Hi hope this helps and enjoy your hols.

Roman artefacts found at Berry Head suggest a long history of sea defence .

Brixham has a fascinating maritime history stretching back a thousand years and more.
The ancient Britons may have launched their coracles from the sheltered beaches and the Romans are thought to have had a watch-tower on Berry Head overlooking the sea route from Lyme Bay to the Southwest.Gwawrer

Can’t help much really, I’m 15-20 miles by road up the coast from Brixham and I’m still looking for the elusive goodies.

Assuming you have a crown estate permit it’s good for pretty much all of the Dart Estuary, I know of Romano-British sites in Stoke Gabriel stretching down to the estuary. Goodrington, Paignton & Torquay beaches are all going to be modern although there is a possibility that Longships landed there during the 9th Century and the Danes were chased off by the locals ‘after great slaughter’ just inland near Marldon.

Seems to be quite a bit of WWII installations going on as well. And Slapton Sands D-Day Practise area. Watch out for the mud in the Estuary.
