Anyone going to the beach (Swansea area) Saturday ?  Low tide readings look promising and it's been pretty windy here in Swansea - unless it's raining of course.

Any pointers to any beaches stripped down to hard pack, or as near as, would be appreciated.

 Huh

Did toy with the idea of Aberavon Mike.  Let us know if it's producing,  if so then probably will.  Parking is a bit of a pain there now though since they've built that new housing estate right on the front.

Hi Andrew
Probably end up in Oxwich if the weather is ok.  Parking right next to the beach is great in my book.  Low tide approx 1pm so aim to be there about 11am.

If we get the nod from Mike then sights could change to Aberavon though  Roll Eyes

Mike if you brave Aberavon in the snow or rain then you deserve all the gold you can carry pet.  I remember being there after the hurricanes we had in the late 80's - nearly every beep was either a ring or a sovereign  Shocked. Bet all the beaches were throwing up their goodies as well though after those winds  Smiley

Gold is a good price at the moment - never know that burger van may still materialise ?
