was going through my scrap finds collection and found this on the bottom it has a piece which looks like a clasp /fastening on one side ,please help with the id as i dont want to discard it if its of interest.thanks

This is definitely brooch, Mike.
I think from victorian period. Look on the UKDFD.

Hi mate ......yeah it dose look like copper wire but I think ur all right saying its a brooch I prob chucked it out
