If you own an apple iphone under no circumstances must you upgrade you version software via itunes.Apple will upgrade your version to 4.1.2 this is not a problem in it's self but they will also upgrade your baseband (Modem) to 05 15 04 the result is if you have tomtom applications they will fail to run, also your signal will drop such as from o2UK to O2 E (EDGE) it will also affect other network carriers orange etc,if you are on version 3.0, 3.01, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.00, then please dont do it! at this present moment in time there is no fix! if you want to know your version click on settings,general, about, and then scroll down you may be on baseband 05 11 07 if so leave well alone kind regards to you all johnus maximus.
