Hi All

A chance to get rid of all your unwanted Christmas presents, make a few bob and pick up a bargin.

Last years auction was a great success and the dontations to Ty-hafan went towards last years total of £300
Below is a report from Our Annual summer Auction, full repots on WWW.RAREMDCLUB.CO.UK

RARE Auction - 21st July 2010
Tony MazA couple of weeks ago, members decided to hold an auction on our "Find of the Month" night (being a very popular night with the members, so the meeting on the 21st July 2010, seemed the most logical time to hold it).  Some of us had doubts that we were able to fit it all in one night, considering we had our "Find of the Month" night, a "club meeting" and an "auction.  There was nothing to worry about; because the meeting was over in record time and the “any other business part” of the meeting was met with a resounding NO!  So, it was time for the auction...

Members had started arriving as our club house opened and I was amazed at the quality of items the members had brought. Items included a microwave, free-view box, camping equipment, collectable silver coins, detecting books, new clothing to name but a few of the many items on offer.  Tony Maz was our auctioneer for the evening and of course he did it in his own unique way. He was on top form and had everyone in stitches a few times, especially with the stuffed toy dogs incident when Tony said "if you buy these’s they’ll multiply" and I shall leave the rest to your imagination !!!! .....
