went out this morning with Lee (Sticky) on to a new field. Took about two hours then these two popped out! First Henry VIII for me, and i'm told the penny is Edward II.

Lovely those Trys , mintmark lis , is it a groat or half groat ? would love to find one of those. Don't forget when you get back on the field to show us the finds , love seeing them. You would think that more Henry's would turn up , but they seem to be a rare find, Well done!

Cheers guys, It's a groat Hedehog. It's around the same size as a lizzy sixpence, but when I looked in my book I noticed that there were no sixpences in Henry's reign. You would think that more would turn up as he was on the throne for 38 years!
