Every year we have a thread regarding members wish list of Detecting finds for the coming year.

I'll get the ball rolling - this year I would be over the moon to find any of the following:

Bronze Age Axe Head, Spear Head or Gouge.
Vessica Seal - with ledgible legend.
Medieval bronze key.
Pilgrims Apulla.
Anything Celtic.

I may be being a tad optimistic, but you got to have targets in life.  Roll Eyes

a stater or potin,
a medieval posy ring, and

I would like to find this year a bronze age axe head, and also something roman (to be found local to me) as in the 10 years i've been detecting i've only found half a roman brooch around here! A sovereign or guinea would be nice too Grin

I was spoiled last year and after 32 years digging yesterdays loses my wish list is now quite small.
A Saxon brooch
Gold hammered  (I don't want to be too picky, but a Double Leopard would be nice Roll Eyes )
