Always expect the unexpected!

After days of chompin at the bit I finally made it out today. I was beginning to think I was going doolally when I found myself swinging my arm walking round the house  Cheesy
Just come back from a trip over the bridge and pleased with this cracker of a Roman. After checking in books I have, I have made it out to be a FLAVIUS VICTOR siliqua 387-388. I can make out D N FL VICTOR P F AVG on the face side and what I can make out minted in Milano on the reverse.
I understand if this IS what I hope it to be, and as he only reigned for a year, it could be rare.
I already have had a healthy offer for it. However, it's not going anywhere!
Peter if you can tell me more about the inscriptions I would be much appreciated.

Just checked, it's minted in MILAN, not Milano. Guess that makes it a designer siliqua  Shocked

Lovely going Ceri, they don't come much better than that. A fantastic addition to anyone's collection.
Samhain was new year, you've had other goodies since then.

Great coin and pretty scarce too:

Flavius Victor AR Siliqua. D N FL VICTOR P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right / VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated left, holding globe in right hand, reversed spear in left; MDPS in ex. RIC IX Milan 19b; RSC 6Ac; Sear (1988) 4210.
