silver day for roman (ray)

HI ALL.
myself..pipster..nobby..planned a days detecting today..we where going to decide this morning where we would detect..meeting time was my home 9am.sharp.lol.
no sign of nobby on the forum this morning i guest he.d slept late or something lazy bugger.me and pipster where up bright and early all booted and armed as our neil says.lol..phil phones me up he.s leaving cheptow about 8 am..i had a phone call 8.20am pipster cant make it..his vehicle has broken down.that i was sorry to here..ok phil i said it cant be helped my friend.now im the only one booted and armed.lol.there was nothing i could do for pipster as much as id like to.i had  all my gear ready i thought id go some where local which for me is allways gilfach mountain.after a 40 minute climb and a 15 minute break at the top i switch my machine on and away to go.5 mins later i get a phone call of pipster asking me where i was he was still thinking of turning up at gilfach in his other vehicle he said ray ill phone you back in 5 mins to decied weather he was going to turn up or not..2 mins later my battery ran out on my mobile phone.
uuuummmm..that was it he cant get through to me and yet again theres nothing i can do.so i keeps on detecting.one thing worried me the wife is picking me up and i have.nt give her a time.im stranded on gilfach mountain.never mind i thought ill worry about that later..and maybe head for my parents house which was about 2 miles across the mountain.
in the mean time pipster turns up at gilfach and climbs the steep mountain looking for me..when phil got to the top of the mountain he turned right..whilst i was 2 miles left.lol.what can say pipster tried his best to find me but gave up and went back home to chepstow.i recieved a pm when i finally got home saying he.d been on gilfach mountain looking for me for half a day..lol.its funny now..but not at the time.
i dont think today was ment to be for me and phil..but whilst phil is haveing fun looking for me.lol..im haveing a great day on the silver coins.4 coins !!!
not even thinking of pipster until i get home and explain my phone went dead.after a terrable start to the day.i finally cheered myself up after finding 4 silvers
a vicky shilling edward six-punce vicky six-punce and a george v six-punce.why cant things go wrong all the time.lol.

It's difficult to type this after taking a handful of antidepressants and my eyes full of tiers and red mist
What can I say but....wow, you've done it again, really well done mate and I mean it, (can I uncross my fingers now )
It would be interesting to know what was happening up there....chapel gatherings, Sunday school outings, boxing matches etc.....
