Well the meeting went well, it was not as successful as I hoped, seven people attended and the general consensus was that it would be possible to increase attendance if we could arrange a rally or two, the club was christened The Great Orme Metal Detectors Club, I thing that might be T.G.O.M.D.C. for short, there were not enough to form a proper committee so I had to wear three hats, we should be able to rectify this at a future meeting, we will need to elect a secretary and a treasurer. The next meeting will be Tuesday 2nd December if there is more interest. So contact me to show you are interested and I will go ahead and book the room for the next meeting. Thank you all to those who attended.

Well done Brewer on getting it started.

From small acorns and all that . . .

If you want we can set you up with a page on here for your members to discuss all things TGOMDC related.

Give it time and I am sure it will grow, and its great to welcome another Welsh detecting club onto Detectingwales.com

Good luck with it

well done on such a good start ... it can only get better.

Now try and get the club members to a DW event in the near future.

Cheers

Hi, sorry it only lasted a few weeks, not enough attending, on the last meeting date I was the only one there, and I have lost interest. Regards Paul.

I turned up also, just 1/2 hr late - but never mind; as brewer says there was not enough interest,  which is a shame cos it would be good to be able to compare notes etc.So if any ones willing to take the reins and kick up some interest great .I would love to but due to work and family commitments ain't got the time at the mo to organize a club - maybe in a few years time!
p.s - Paul have u given up detecting or were u referring to interest in the club?

Hi bajero, well I haven't been out this summer, but I am very busy, maybe later on, I might get more enthusiasm with more spare time.

See you soon.

it takes a lot of time and effort to run a club! if its not happening maybe we could sort something like a rally up north out on here, meet up have scan and a chat, one thing leads to another . . .  Cheesy
