If I was a rich man

I was going to purchase one of these today but was told they are out of stock for another 10 days. They have been out now for a few weeks has anyone saw or heard anything good or bad about them.

Hi.I purchased one about a week ago and they are a massive improvement on the 250.They have the same sort of build quality and do look similar to the 250.The machine is well balanced with the new 2d coil. The machine works very well and the tones seem better than the deafening 250.

Got a feeling there will be a lot of cheap second hand ACE 250s on the market soon , as Garrett have priced the EURO relatively cheap at £250,,,,,,,, and my boy wants a 250 for Christmas,,,, oh thank you Garrett

They have some for sale on ebay. Regtons have no more for at least ten days.

well as promised we finally used the new euro Garrett  shung gav took it out the box and set it up  very easy construction  and it did look very nice  the new coil made it slightly heavier   then the others from the ace range  so we  get to or fun field (its a park near to where i live ) and start it up it took a long time to get the machine to settle and the sensitivity needed adjusting all the time but we finally got it sorted  we where off  find one red bull can find two piece of stella can then a George 5 penny  what bothered me the most was that both reading where the same both gave the Garrett ting ting sound so i battled on shung then got a Edward  1903 half penny   and i found a small hoard of new penny's  and a pound at about  14 inches down then the rain came and we made a dash for home   overall  score

silverhand   7/10
shung           9/10

silverhand  "  just like the 250 ace just with a bigger heavyer coil  would use it again if on a  farm not very clear in  rubbished areas"
shunggav  "great machine   very easy to use  and setup  it was fun seeing  silverhand getting angery when it would not settle"
