Here is a few of current members finds that are listed in the Gallery to provide inspiration for new and old members alike.

Finders include myself, James, TaffLaff, Steven King, The Doc, Admin, Maxine, Zorro, Roman Ray, Staterchaser, Alan, etc.

When the fields seem bare and the rain is belting down, just remember its only a beep away!

Cheers all

What an absolutely stunning collection of finds  ! If the archies had their way they would never see the light of day , and what a loss to the everyone who values their history and heritage , which belongs to everyone !

Its astonishing when you consider between us what has turned up!

Just to add where required these have all been declared to the authorities as treasure.

Way to go James - you always produce the goods! When did you find that beauty?

Just to add to this -  quite a few of the items (iconographic ring, guinea, palstave, coin group, tudor hook, etc) I have just posted were found by James - a longstanding DW member and good mate of mine.

I can't find a photo of your Roman oil lamp suspender though - an extremely rare find for these shores.

Nice one mate
