You never see a farmer on a bike!

Finds on Friday

Went out Friday for 3 hours - nice day - saw 6 pheasants, 2 curlews and a woodpecker- great to be out

Found a pile of things , great for 3 hours, nothing exciting , but the brooch wasn't bad

Quite a pile there Phil, nice thimble, don't get many like that! Glad you enjoyed your day, that is the other nice thing about detecting, animals and birds seem to accept you and It's great to be able to see them close up. Whereabouts are you? I haven't seen curlews for years. They used to be a common sight when I was younger but they moved out of the area!
