3 hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fields , some nice finds came up , sa a lizzy 1st sixpence , afe few hammered and a cracking Saxon coin (silver) from one of the RARE guys. I had the usual suspects of buttons , a nice spectacle buckle and a Roman Coin that had been Saxonized into a pendant. and a lead disk with some marking on it.

Well done Rob - lets see the Roman.

Any more reports out there?

I will try and get a pic of the Saxon by Wed night.

The Vicky shilling in this pic is from Detecting Wales Rally Saturday 14th March. Any ideas on the metal in the pic not lead as not dull enough , reads low towards tin alum, but heavy as hell.
