i have about 80 squid in pound coins..from inland and beach sites.. whats the best if any....as dont have a clue ..as to cleaning them to be able to use....thanks in advance for any help...cheers paul

I think they call that money laundering this side of the border Shocked

I've heard of people using the change machines at the supermarkets to turn them into notes, but I don't know what commission they take.

  I give them a soak in Vinegar  with a pinch of salt,   if they are not too bad they will clear up pretty quickly, within an hour,
   worse ones will need to be soaked for a couple of hours or over night, and may just been a little rub with a wire Brush to finnish off,
 hope this helps,.   it works great for me,

just a few at a time though Paul,  they may go a bit brown in places due to the brass in it.  but will be ok when cleaned,

the only advice i can give you is take them as they are to the bank and
ask them to exchange them for clean ones and they will do it for you
as they have done it for me in the past
