Looking after your Detector....... Padded bags

 i like to keep my Detector safe , don't we all ,,,, but i have yet to find a bag that does the job.......

That is until i recently bought a Padded keyboard bag ,,, these bags are perfect for detectors , not only do they have room for your machine , but you can get your spare coils, headphones, clothes , the lot all in one bag

To protect those fragile keyboards they are really well padded,,, just the job

I have noticed a few on ebay, going cheap , some even come with wheels and stand up vertically,,,, look out for Ritter and Le Blond makes, these are used by professional musicians,,, also there are ex military bags made for night vision equipment , these are the biz too.

Compared to the prices that are charged for so called customised detector bags,, these are far better value and give better protection.

Great tip Mike - regular detector bags are not very well padded, if at all.

just looked on eBay Debbie and there are 2 x Le Blond bags for sale at the moment , and they have 1" of padding and are the vertical standing type with wheels!!!!!! ,,, thinking of getting another one, ......mines a Ritter , it even has a separate pocket for my spade !!!!

I bought a Padded Bag off a whites Owner unused for £22 off ebay the same as the ones they give away with Mtx.s and Dfx.s its padded and i can fit me F75 my spade,food wets and everything i need for a days detecting .
its worth checking out Ebay with a tape measure and getting one big enough for your needs

 arr those are the bags i like,  not like one iv'e got, a struggle to get the detector in even and not much padding, doh,  best keep that one as a shovel bag i think,  lol,  no,  spade bag sorry lol,  the shovel  head would have a job to fit in anyhow,lol

Arrr i see Mike,  iv'e just been looking at some on the net  from £19.99 to over £100,s
 would have to turn the detector into 2 halves  for the smaller ones,

 Hi Al , i already have a Ritter bag , i wouldn't get a detecting bag now, yes i do have to break the detector in two, but the extra protection outweighs the hassle of breaking the machine .

I'd rather break the machine in two ,   than have a broken machine

I picked up a snowboard bag in Lidl back last year for (I think) £13, they can be bought from ebay for about the same and are very good and large enough for 2 machines, coils and a large pocket for headphones etc.
In my view far superior to any detecting bag and far cheaper.
