here's my etrac finds from the last 3 weeks since the harvest and the plough started to come around  Grin
first weekend gave me a voided cut half of henry111 i think

allso a lead token with cross

two nice compleat buckles

heres the days finds


2nd weekend
well this day i wont ever forget  Grin it a day ive dreamed about for years.
first find of note was a short cross cut half of ?john
 
other sides blank  Sad
then came a find that truly made me walk on air . well i dug this hard clod but could not get in to it so carried it around for half an hour or so before sitting down in the shade to look at my cut half and break in to the clod , when i finally did i thought id found a gold button till i turned it over  Shocked Shocked

wow thats about all i can say  Grin its a dobunnni quarter stater and  its corio
rest of days finds


returning to the find spot the following weekend to stay for 2 days griding  Smiley
no more iron age gold turned up but i had plenty to be happy with .
two hammered
a James 1st sixpence and henry 8th penny i think  Smiley


a silvered roman coin

a roman brooch and part of roman ring

a lovely flint tool

the 2 days finds

a great detector an amazing start to the harvest time  Grin
