good day was had by all by the looks of it well done guys n gals the only gripe i have is why the stater fest banner well done to the guys that found them but a little story i know of is that a certain detectorist found a stater in a herefordshire parish and now beacuse word has got around there is people turning up by the coach load to tect this particular parish, i think you may be encouraging nighthawking or overcrowding and i feel for the guys that are doing the fields around the nearby castle {who i do know}.by all means find wonderfull things but you really dont have to tell most of wales and several parts of england as well.

I may be wrong, but I haven't seen any disclosure of the location on the forum, apart from the general area. Obviously, those that went know where it is...

Plenty of the general public did call by and it is a good point I think Peter. Though only members had a pm of the rally location. A lot of locals knew we were there by the end of the day. You do wonder.
