In this months searcher magazine there's a ring very similar to the one Rob found earlier this year in the ID and valuation section,best of all it was actually disclaimed when it went through the treasure process. Took 19 months to go through mind but fingers crossed eh Rob!

God Benny when I read the thread heading I wondered what he had been up to.  Grin  When I saw the ring come out of the ground I would have been so proud of the find. It is a cracking ring that would have sat with pride of place on any mantelpiece. But you are right it does look similar and shows how odd the treasure process is.
