Well R.A.R.E dont to anything by half and this was the case at our recent Fun Auction.
The members wanted to hold the Auction on a Find of the month night, being a very popular night with the members it seemed the most logical time to hold it.
I had doubts we could fit it all in one night, considering we had our Find of the month night a club meeting and an Auction !.
I neednt have worried the meeting was over in record time and the any other business part of the meeting was met with a resounding NO !       Time for the Auction !

Members had started arriving as our club house opened i arrived shortly after, i was amazed at the quality of items the members had brought, Microwave,Freeview box,Camping equipment,Collectable silver coins, Detecting books, new clothing to name but a few of the many items on offer.

Tony Maz was our Auctioneer for the evening and of cause he did it in his own unique way, he was on top form and had everyone in stitches a few times, I wont go into the stuffed toy dogs incident, i,ll just say Tony said "if you buy these,s they,ll mulitply "and leave the rest to your imagination lol

Many of our members kindly donated there earnings from the auction to the Ty-Hafan Childrens Hospital and our member once again gave generously when the Ty-hafan Charity box was handed round.
We,re well on the way to smashing last years dontation to the hospital.
keep up the good work Guys and Gals.

Many thanks to everyone involved and many thanks to the Membership for making this another memorable RARE social event

All the best

It should have been held on another night realy when there wasn't a find of the month,  he had to go through too quickly,
it should have all been laid out to see everything before hand  realy , a lot of the stuff should have gone seperatly and not in job lots for bladders,
like the two large detector bags,!! what, 2 for 25 pence !!!! the hammer came down before you knew it,  they should have been offered one at a time  starting at £1 each,
