Thank you for your kind words Napoleon. Grin all true of cause !
Newbies are the life blood of our hobbie and sometimes breath new live into detecting clubs with they're drive and enthusiasm.
RARE has had a large influx of new members this year and People new to detecting,
Its just made a Great Club even better.
Im sure reading about newbies adventure's on here (DW) have encouraged many of us to get out detecting more regularly.

having just seen this thread may i point out that RARE do not have any rights to any land other than an estate in the vale of glamorgan...as the VERMINATOR pointed out earlier....to say a group of RARE members have taken over farms does not mean that they are acting on behalf of the club...they are acting as independant people...because finds are not published on this forum does'nt mean anyone has something to hide either.....if you have had confrontations with individuals please dont brand any club/s they belong to as the perpetrators......lets all get on doing the hobby we love.....byron....VICE-CHAIRMAN RARE

Well there you go str8 from our venerable Vice chairmans mouth/fingers.

Steve i hear you can lay some heavy sounds down.
I dont think anyone would want to hear Bobby shafto or a version of Stairway to heaven that sounds like a Sea lion had broken into a music shop and started strumming a  FenderTelecaster (very unlikely i know lol)
Funny you should mention Guitars im selling an acoustic
I,ll post on the for sale page where i can go some pics, only asking £20 notes ;0)

Hi Alan yes that does go on
God know why
Rare arnt  expensive or hard to join.

I suspect it could be ex members trading on RARE,s good name to gain land.
