of course david we are friends for life mate,,i will do a rain dance with you anytime  Grin as for the rally situation,,,more the merrier,,i have noticed that some people believe this thread is a dig at rare, which is not my intention ,only to say that if certain clubs are going out detecting it may be better to leave some of the more loud members at home, i mean the guy i had a slanging match with didnt enjoy his day i didnt enjoy mine and when the guy was going into one the farmer heard him and later said to me he didnt want people like that on his land so hes probably buggered that patch up for his club.the other guys he was with were fine and admitted to me after the incident that the bloke dosent go with them that often and has a history of  being rude ,,,,.

i went out yesterday for a couple of hours on pasture, ground was hard, i only dug good signals and any that were in clod i tendeded to leave for another day.

Found a shoe buckle around 12", and a very unusual looking button, numerous buttons, lead, dry cow tubes and an old penny with a dancing britania on face !

Weather forecast isnt on our side once more  Sad

Enjoyed it all ther same  Grin

Hello Paul You Said In Your Fist Post That R.A.R.E Have Had Several Rallies In The Area? Well As Far As I Know R.A.R.E Do Not Hold Rallies We Run Bus Trips  Grin
As Far As I Know The Club Has No Land In Hereford  Grin
As For The The Fool That Called You a bloody English b*****d All I Can Do Is Apologise And I Hope That Other R.A.R.E Members Will Back Me Up On This.
Speaking To Someone Like This Is Just Plan Rude And Does Not Reflect On The Majority Of  R.A.R.E Members
As Phil Said Just because these Detectorists are RARE members doesnt mean its Rare,s Land
All I Can Say Paul Is You Are Lucky To  have 7000 acres to play on

Hi Steve

RARE do hold Club Rally,But your correct in saying we have no club land in Hereford or England for that matter.
We,ve favoured Coach trips recently because thats what the majority of members want ;0) me included.
Where else could you spend £7.00 and have the whole day from the wife and kids lol

FORGIVE MY IGNORANCE BUT I FIND THIS TOPIC A BIT CONFUSING? IS RARE ONE OF THE CLUBS WE DON'T GET ALONG WITH ON HERE OR ARE THEY GOOD? I'VE CONSIDERED JOINING THEM EVEN IF IT IS A LONG DRIVE FROM ME LOL.

Who said we do not get on with any clubs Norman. Rare are a forward thinking club full of great people and are as far as I know a top club. Strange comment to make.

LoL Norman we arent the ones that cant be named were the good guys. hehehe
I personally get on well with the G club as do the rest of the RARE membership id say 30% are now  members but its the forums policy not to mention them

We got members from your way so we can pick you up on the way to England  lol
