Any ideas on  this flint fragment guys
I am fairly certain it dates to Paleaothic period due to feel and general wieght of it, It has multiple small percussion marks on the working edge

This flint measures approx 27mm X 30mm X 10mm thick, and seems a bit crude for Neolithic , It came from a sight that I have found neo/meso flints on.
Any suggestions please (if it is it puts the human habitation of my home area into the 10's of thousands of years)

This find will be recorded with PAS shortly

Nice find Ian. I'm afraid lithics is an area in which I have minimal knowledge. Other than to say it looks worked, I've nothing else to offer  Cry

I think it could be a Barbed and Tanged Arrowhead in the making that has broken Ian. Still a very nice find. Well done
