You never see a farmer on a bike!

After going to the Brecon Rally!!!
Great company, sweltering conditions.......but probably the worst detecting day I've had.....or Homer might say " the worst detecting day SO FAR!!!!!" Besides the 2 decimal coins and a Cartwheel, I probably would have missed the tractor in the field?Huh? Huh
Rob's last minute axe head finds made it all worthwhile...great bloke...well deserved Wink

Anyway!  took my detector out that evening for a bit of therapy to a field near home.
In the hour found 4 coins (one florin 1948-whoever lost it could have been a more considerate and lost an older one), 5 buttons and this well preserved buckle.

Peter....Is it Georgian 1720-1790 Huh Huh Huh

Put my faith back into detecting....see some of you on the weekend Cool Wink

Thanks Peter

Only guessed this via a link on buckles posted by one of our members some time ago
Always find lots of buckles and buttons out our way.
Try to get the link address posted again

Very nice Phil and well photographed. My Broken buckle from Brecon has the same sort of detail and I think it must have looked the same. Should clean up and be one to keep.  Wink
