O.K. here are some of Detecting Wales' U.F.O's (unidentified found objects).
i've re-posted them in the hope some one will be able to find out more about them and they can be catalogued properly.
If you have any U.F.O's yourself please feel free to add them here and perhaps we can I.D them for you.

U.F.O. number 1 info :-
believed to be of Pewter, Approximately 25mm at its widest. Artefact has what appears to be a scary face on front. Found by D.W.member Tafflaff (Rob)

U.F.O. number 2 info:-
Found by D.W. member Phil in Rooksbridge.
Its 5.5cm internal at its widest, 8.5cm at its external widest  and stands 6.5cm tall. There is a casting line but its only visible in between some of the Turrets.

Great idea Zorro - my guesses are . . .

The first find by Rob reminds me of a mount off perhaps a pewter drinking vessel.

The second by Phil (I was there when he found it} I still think is a form of a Terret Ring. It didn't have the weight of bronze though - not sure what it was made of.

I'll get my coat now! Roll Eyes

Geoff (Admin} - any chance of making UFO's a section on DW. I am sure we all have a few.

Great idea Kev

Cheers

Neil we already had a section for unidentified coins and one for artefacts, now named:-
 Unidentified Found Objects (U.F.O's).
hopefully if anyone has items they know nothing about they can post them here and maybe someone  will be able to solve a little piece of the puzzle, who knows?....thats the idea anyway
