I saw this post on another forum about a guy who makes carbon fibre spades   He says they are strong and
light weight. A  big advantage with the senstive E.trac. I think he does them in batchs of ten. Its a small operation and
he his the only one making these spades. The full spade is about £100,but if it lasts life time its a bargain.

i saw a video of this carbon fibre spade being tested for strength ....they were'nt digging with it but were running a car over it and using it as a ramp...they even put one end on a block and run over it...it bent to an amazing degree but recovered immediately ! a great investment ..if you want to spent £100 on a spade...lol.... Undecided
