I noticed at the last bus trip to Woodhill, the orginsers where selling raffle tickets as well as giving them to People lucky enough to find tokens, i think they where a pound a strip.
As you all know Tokens are exchanged for raffle tickets at some point during the day and drawn out of a closed bag

How do members feel about us selling tickets at a £1 a ticket  Huh
as you know all funds raised will go towards paying for the food, raffle prizes and future Coach trips
This extra money could provide free bus trip during the year ;0)

let me know how you feel about this !

To be honest, Phil, that p*ssed me off a bit at the Woodhill Rally. People were under the assumption that the more tokens you find the better your chances of winning a raffle prize. Then they started selling the tickets and, by the end, if all you had were your tickets from finding tokens, then your chances of winning a prize were next to none because people were buying ten quids worth of tickets at a time. So what was the point of hunting for tokens?

Maybe it would be an idea to have two separate raffles. One for the token hunt, and one where people can buy tickets if they want. Keep the prizes separate and make it clear what's going on and it shouldn't be a problem. My opinion.

It didn't go down well with the people who took the time to find the tokens.
I agree 100% with Leighton, i think his idea is spot on Phil.
BTW me and the family will be there Smiley Cant wait.
Somehow i managed to miss the last RARE meeting? dont know how i managed that Huh, sorry everyone, as you know
so long as its not on the same night as the Scan Club meet, i'm always there.
