found today on brecon mdc 1st club outing .would appreciate any help on the letters stamped into the coin ,the coin measures 18 mm and appears to be hammered .

Probably counterstamped and used as a token when it got too worn
to be used as a coin....nice find... Cool

Nice find, I would say it was a love token. The initials are those of the two people in the relationship. they are usualy hand engraved but punched is just another way.
