Hi Peter I hope you can help date this bracelet but have my doubts on this one.
Found it today while out with Taff and the boys.
it is a D section bracelet total length (remaining) is 146mm and it has a width of 3mm. it is quite heavy for it's size (5.3g) so I am guessing it's bronze.
The pattern although difficult to.photograph does run the length of the bracelet. And it's made up of non repeating symbols, varying from straight lines to flowers to what look like moons and wheels.
Good luck

Thats an interesting find Geoff. The patterns not uniform so I guess it has a fair old age to it.

Anything else come up today?

Interesting find Geoff, but I've not seen anything like it before. I assume it's post-medieval but that's about all I can say.
