Out again today with Ace and TinTin, finds where few and far between, found some predecimals, and modern coinage.
Had a great time though, especially watching TinTin getting chased across the field by the farmers Pony, Ace and myself where on our knees laughing   Grin Grin Grin
After receiving a cracking signal, only to dig up another coke can lol, i filled the hole back in , scanned again and was still getting a good signal, pulled out the plug and this little beauty popped out.
Dad ( Ace ), cleaned it out when we got home only to find the pea was still inside, after careful cleaning he blow the whistle and guess what ? it works perfectly.

Just looking at the history of the Acme company on Wikipedia
The patent No. is of 1923, older than we thought
