hi doc. id for you if you would please,found these's the other day
i think the first one might be a pastry cutter and the other a buckle,
but the buckle is a bit on the large size is it a shoe buckle or a hat buckle
thanks.

it's either a shoe or knee buckle -- probably georgian period

Nice finds - you are right, the first is a pastry cutter, circa 18th century. The buckle is a shoe buckle dating 1720-1790.

The pastry jigger is a cracking find - lovely patina. You only ever normally find bits of them!

Well Winkled Stuart !

My dad had something similar to that pastry Cutter, he used it to crimp wallpaper before cutting.
I think it started life as a Dressmakers tracing tool
