Hi folks,
Will be visiting Wales in october and thought i would try morfa bychan beach...
Is this a private beach ?
I am staying in a bungalow on the same road near to the beach........
If it is private ? ... is there anywhere near where i can visit....
Would be great if you's could help.

Hi Leon Hi Byron

I take it your talking about Morfa Bychan Beach Porthmadog, Gwynedd ?

I was at Morfa bay Pems. this Bank holiday Monday
Me and the Miss,s where looking into buying a Caravan at Grove park which is at the top of the "lane" (and i use the word very loosely) to Morfa Bychan bay.

Me and Byron,Des and Derek, only found lead fishing weights and an oar off a dingy lol

According to Derek who use to have a caravan there, the bay was use for Ship to shore Gunnery practice during WW2
I have heard that our West Wales cousin's have had a bit of luck there in the past so its worth a punt.
You need to check the tides because a quarter of the beach is pebbles and shale

all the best on your search Leon
If you meant Morfa Bychan Bay your visiting in October, I may come and join you !
regards Phil
