Hi pete this coin was found by wayneyboy. i believe its a gold angel by henry Vll, but would obviously like your I.D to confirm and any mint , moneyer etc you'd like to add before it goes into the database.

Wow - superb - what detecting dreams are made of!!!!

I'm no expert on these (you don't exactly see them every day), but I believe it is a Henry VII angel, Class III, mintmark pansy, struck 1495-98. Spink 2183
