Out today had a few finds the 1 with a dogs head i believe is for pouring liquids ,
the womans head made of lead the bottom has been snapped 4cms in lengh is it a pipe tamper last one is a metal object 13cms long  made of iron quite deep down any ideas please ?

Steve the pouring thing looks Roman to me as well Steve but looks spaniel like so is it Charles 1st ish. Seen very similar stone carved spouts from a Roman context. Mainly from the Bristol / Gloucester South Cotswold area

Interesting finds Steve. No idea on the lead bust or the iron thing, but the pouring spout is approx 15th century, like these:

Nice finds Steve Smiley a friend of my found a pouring spout similar to yours only it was made of bronze it was dated to the late medieval period by an FLO  Smiley
