i attended today's rally and all was well until 10.30 when a 200mph wind blew up and it started chucking it down. i made my way back to the car as did a few others when i left i heard of 1 hammered 2 complete roman broochs and a few roman bronzes were found. well done to all those who stick it out look forward to seeing your finds on here later today.  mike

yes it pored down then got soaked left at 12ish , i was one that found a bronze ,put it on here for peter to id . Smiley

hi all i thought ihad a silver roman brooch, but me and the vac have just finished cleaning it,its silver plated with black enamel on the front,it also had a hole which did have a stone which is missing,so peter and john you were rightgreat day out except for the light rain and winds well done on all  regards the vac and john
