They rarely come up second hand and they are rarely discussed on the forums, whats your thoughts on them. Good machine?

Hi ,
I have owned one for five years now,was sold to me by Colin Irvine (Toddy) of Northern Metal detectors as I was after a detector with a fast recovery speed on plough soil amongst the Iron and Colin highly recommended it.
The unit turned out to be as good as he said it would be with the DD Coils attached to it and has served me well .
I am not surprised to see not many of them being sold second hand as a lot of folk like to keep them as backup detectors because of the simplicity of use and reliability.
