Ray it's a badge of the H.A.C    The Honourable Artillery Company, that is their motto , but i haven't seen that particular badge , i'll look into it,

By the way nice finds Ray , i'm gutted i couldn't come , as i nipped up the local park and the M6 was pulling modern coins and lead soldiers left right and centre. it should have done well down there

Nice badge Ray. As Mike said, the motto is that of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC). The cypher is that of George V, so probably WW1 era. The problem is that the usual HAC badges look nothing like this and I've drawn a complete blank in looking for a similar one. Anyone else got any ideas?
