I went out with the detector for a couple of hrs yesterday,  after 3 hrs out in the field i came back to the car to go home,
I noticed something on the side of the road just up the lane from where i was parked that didn't seem right,,  after thinking about it i went and investigated it,
Blimey.  it was a bloke laying in a narrow shallow drop on the side of the road full of freezing cold muddy water.  he was almost out of it,
geeeeeze i thought, what the hell,
Just then a car came down, as luck has it she was a paramedic,  she checked him out and phoned for an ambulance,
he'd been finnished up at work and got drunk and slipped and fell into the culfort,
This was 3.15,  he said he'd been there since 1,30,  blimey, much longer and he would have been up there haunting us too,
looks like he was just suffering with hypa thermia anyhow,

something iv'e always dreaded was coming across a body when i'm out detecting,
Al.

Boody Hell Alan

A few more minutes and you could have discovered a Dead Body
Well if that isnt a good advert for drinking in moderation i dont know what is

I hope that blokes got your details i think a big thank you is in order
that man owes you his life

Im very wary about helping people in distresslike that when i was a kid about 6 or 7 holidaying in Cornwell with my dad an old lady slipped and fell in the street i went to help her up and she beat me to the ground with her walking stick .lol
My Dad couldnt help he was laughing to much lol
