Hi everyone.

This is the Samian ware I mentioned in my last post. If you look closely at the one far left and high it has a panther running right in th far right sectioned area. All of these were found in holes whilst digging lead! My hand gives you an idea of the scale - I'm an XL in gloves.

The close up are of the Denari as someone asked (sorry I forget who)

I have had the mint ID'd as Rome 109AD. Any more information would be warmly accepted.

Lovely photos those Neil , if you are looking for Roman then that is the best site you could be on, those samian pieces are in fantastic condition as well. Lucky man  Cool

hi neil a very nice looking coin, i have found a few but that knocks spots of any of mine, im not one for pottery but i do pick it up for our flo, i agrre to earlier comments next rally is the place to find one  also great photo   mick
