Rob has asked me to post a few of the bits from around my home for this quiz section. Same rules apply as normal - 5 points for a right answer and deductions for a wrong answer.

This is made of Silver and Guilloche and of Scandanavian origin. It dates to the Art Deco Period (late 1920's to early 1930's). It would have been found in a very wealthy home.

Any ideas?

it's a lovely looking thing......it reminds me of an instrument for picking up dropped items like nuts and bolts etc.......so could it be for picking up and eating nuts or other fruits?....byron

This is not for tonsils, sugar, pickles, etc  although all good guesses. Its actually a posh way of picking up ice cubes and dropping them into you drink in the decadence of the late 2O's/3O's.

Now your talking Ian - my drink of choice when I fancy a real session!

We brought 9 bottles back from Prague in 2OO2 as they were £7O a bottle here if you could find it then. I have 2 left at the moment. Roll Eyes

Strong drink and not for the faint hearted, but tastes delicious as long as you burn the Wormwood off first - ask Jaydodd his opinion on it after a session at mine! Grin
